Se terminaron dos obras de renovación de la infraestructura de agua en Salinas
Cal Water ha completado dos proyectos de mejora de infraestructura de agua en el vecindario Santa Rita de Salinas, como parte de su compromiso continuo para que la infraestructura crítica de la zona siga siendo segura y confiable. Estas mejoras garantizarán que los clientes locales y los bomberos puedan cubrir sus necesidades diarias y de emergencias, ahora y en el futuro.
Two separate projects completed this week included the combined installation of 5,450 feet of new 6-inch and 8-inch water main to replace aging pipes and 108 new individual customer service connections. Crews also installed 10 new fire hydrants to improve access for firefighters. Installation took place at the following locations:
- Eisenhower Street, between Van Buren Avenue and Hoover Street
- Hoover Street, between Eisenhower Street and Lenny Street
- Lenny Street, between Hoover Street and Cleveland Avenue
- Swaner Avenue, between Santa Rita Street and Van Buren Avenue
- Swaner Circle, Jackson Circle, and Garfield Circle
"These important infrastructure upgrades will help us continue to fulfill our promise to deliver quality, service, and value to our customers, both now and for many years to come. Additionally, it will ensure first responders can protect the community in an emergency," said District Manager Brenda Granillo. "As essential service workers, our crews continue working to provide a reliable supply of safe, high-quality water to Salinas residents for their drinking, cooking, handwashing, and other household needs."
