Cal Water ha completado la instalación de un nuevo generador de emergencia en San Jacinto Drive en Salinas, que aporta confiabilidad en el sistema de agua y protección contra incendios a los clientes del área. The infrastructure improvement project will enable the well station to continue to run in the event of a power outage and ensure customers do not experience a water service interruption.
"Cal Water is committed to being a good neighbor and investing in our water infrastructure," District Manager Brenda Granillo said. "This important upgrade will ensure we are able to provide a reliable supply of high-quality water to our Salinas customers and resources for firefighters in emergencies for decades to come."
As part of the project, crews also replaced a service panel, which supplies power to the well. The new service panel was strategically placed outdoors without disturbing the existing indoor unit, which minimized down time during construction.
