Se completó la renovación de infraestructura en East Bakersfield

This upgrade ensures that customers and firefighters will continue to have the water they need for their everyday and emergency needs, both now and in the future.

The project, which began in August, included the installation of 3,500 feet of new 6-inch, 8-inch, and 12-inch PVC and ductile iron water main and 40 new individual customer service connections. Installation took place along:

  • Ridge Road, from Mt. Vernon Avenue to Jessie Street
  • Jessie Street, from Ridge Road to Alameda Avenue
  • Alameda Avenue, from San Luis Street to Milvia Street
  • San Luis Street, from Alameda Avenue to Bernard Place
  • Bernard Place, from San Luis Street to Crestview Drive
