Cal Water ha comenzado una renovación de infraestructura de agua este mes para fortalecer la confiabilidad en el sistema de agua y la protección contra incendios para los clientes y la comunidad.
As part of the project, crews will install approximately 2,100 feet of new eight-inch water main and 400 feet of new six-inch water main. Installation will take place on Garden Street, Oak Avenue, School Avenue, Center Avenue, Main Street, and Murray Avenue in downtown Visalia. The project is expected to be completed in December.
"For 100 years, our customers have counted on us to provide safe, reliable water service, and investments like this help us continue that commitment," said Stuart Skoglund, Visalia District Manager. "Upgrading our infrastructure today strengthens reliability and fire protection, while preparing our water system to serve the community well into the future."
Crews will work Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
El proyecto forma parte del compromiso continuo de Cal Water de invertir y mantener de manera responsable la infraestructura vital relacionada con el agua. Proactive improvements such as this help reduce the potential for future leaks and service interruptions, enhance fire protection, and support the continued delivery of safe, clean, reliable drinking water to the community.
